Your schedule
Learning from a YouTube course is easier with a schedule. This study planner reads the playlist, takes your deadline, the days you can study and your playback speed, and turns it into the minutes you need each study day and a day-by-day course schedule of which videos to watch.
How the plan works
The planner adds up the videos you still have to watch, divides the time by your playback speed, and spreads it over the study days left before your deadline. With a playlist, it then hands out whole videos day by day so each day lands close to the target.
Tips for finishing a YouTube course
- Study on fixed days. Untick the days you know you cannot study, so the plan stays realistic.
- Use a little speed. 1.25x cuts a fifth off every day's time and stays easy to follow.
- Start from where you are. Set "Start from video" to the lesson you are on and only the rest is planned.
- Copy the schedule into your notes or calendar and tick off each day.
Just want the total? Use the playlist length calculator, which also has a quick finish-date planner.
Questions
How many minutes a day do I need to finish a playlist?
Paste the playlist, pick your deadline and the days you can study. The planner divides the total by your study days and shows the daily minutes, at your playback speed.
How long will it take to finish a YouTube course?
Paste the course playlist into the playlist length calculator for the total, or into this planner with a deadline to see how many minutes a day you need.
Does the schedule split videos in half?
No. Whole videos are given to each day, so some days run a little over or under the target. A very long video gets a day of its own.
Can I plan without a playlist?
Yes. Leave the link empty and type the total length instead, for example 40h for a course.
Can I skip weekends?
Yes. Untick any days of the week and the plan only uses the days you study.
