Multiple playlist length calculator

Combine the length of up to 10 YouTube playlists: one total, a subtotal per playlist, and a finish date for the lot.

  • Up to 10 playlists
  • Subtotal for each
  • One finish date

Paste several YouTube playlist links, one per line, and the multiple playlist length calculator adds them all up. You get one combined total at any speed, a subtotal for each playlist, every video in one list, and a plan for when you will finish everything at the minutes you watch each day.

How to combine YouTube playlist lengths

  1. Copy each playlist link from YouTube (each contains list=).
  2. Paste them into the box above, one per line. You can also paste them all at once; links stuck together are split for you.
  3. Press Calculate (or Ctrl+Enter) to get the combined total and the subtotal for each playlist.

Good for

Combining two playlists into one

This calculator combines the lengths, not the playlists themselves: nothing changes on YouTube. Each playlist is counted as it is, so a video that appears in two playlists is counted twice, just as you would watch it. For a single playlist, use the playlist length calculator.

Questions

Can I add up the length of several YouTube playlists?

Yes. Paste up to 10 playlist links, one per line, and press Calculate. You get the combined total plus a subtotal for each playlist.

How do I combine the length of two YouTube playlists?

Paste both links into the box above, one per line, and press Calculate. The total shows both playlists together, with each one's own length underneath.

Does it merge the playlists on YouTube?

No. It only adds up their lengths on this page. Your playlists on YouTube stay as they are.

Does it count a video twice if it is in two playlists?

Yes, each playlist is counted as it is, just as you would watch it. Remove a playlist from the list if it overlaps another.

Can I plan a whole course made of several playlists?

Yes. After calculating, set the minutes you watch and the days of the week to get a finish date for everything combined.
